When I first laid eyes on this gorgeous looking vibrator, I knew I had to have it. I have not seen any of the Pirates Porn franchise which the toy is a part of, but it is just so cool looking. This is a great little toy for the alt men or woman and even if pirates aren’t your thing, this toy still has a lot to offer.
Here’s a view of the packaging. Let me just say, it was very difficult for me to not tear the packaging open to get this picture. The vibe is so gorgeous, and I just wanted to bust it out. The package itself is not all that discrete. There’s an open window showing you the toy inside, so that’s definitely one reason to not open your package in front of others. There’s no actual nudity on the package itself though, so that’s a bonus. The package was very pretty, and luckily it can go right in the recycling bin. One thing you’ll never have to worry about is that Babeland uses discrete packaging, and the package itself will have NO hint as to where it is from or what is inside. Order in confidence.
Right out of the package, this toy just feels super luxurious. It has a “velvet cote” exterior that feels SO soft and lovely. The velvety finish gives the toy a slight “drag” against the skin, so you’ll want to use a bit of lube for comfortable insertion. Luckily, you can use any type of lube you like, since the Pirate Rocket is made from ABS plastic. The Pirate Rocket feels great both externally and internally, I love this toy! It is 8″ long, with 6.5″ being insertable, and has a 1.25″ girth. This toy isn’t bad for beginners, and advanced users who enjoy a moderately sized toy will love this too.
As far as looks go, this toy is not lacking. It has “tattoo” decorations all over it, and luckily – they are all printed on. This is great because they will never scratch or fall off. I have used the toy a few times, and it shows no signs of the tattoos wearing off. The bottom of the toy (where you insert your two C batteries which are not included) has two rows of gold rhinestone “bling” to give the toy a more treasurey feel. I love this!
The one thing I think that the Pirates Rocket may be walking the plank for is its on/off vibrations button. It is located on the very bottom of the toy, and has a number “5″ on it, indicating that there are five modes of vibration. Three of these are steady vibrations of different degrees, and two of these are occilating modes. The modes themselves are wonderful, and I enjoyed them all, but one downside to this button is that it is too easy to accidentally hit during play. Also, in order to turn the vibrations off entirely, you’ve got to push the button several times to cycle through all the vibrations. Not much of a complaint, so that’ll tell you how wonderful this toy really is. All in all, if that button were either a bit harder to press, (so I wouldn’t bump it while I was playing) or faster to turn off, I’d say this was the most perfect toy in the world.
The vibrations themselves range from a 1-3 out of 5 in intensity, and are not so loud that anyone would hear you through a closed door. Well, unless you like to moan. Loudly. One major bonus to this toy is that it is splashproof, so go ahead and clean it without worries. Just don’t submerge it. I think it’s a bit odd that the “Pirate” rocket would drown, but that’s also kind of cute too, isn’t it? Cleaning it should be a cinch, and soap and water or a toy cleaner should do nicely.
I am really very impressed and in love with my new Pirate Rocket, and I don’t see this toy leaving my “go to” pile any time soon. I’m giving it 5 Piratey Paws:
Thanks so much, Babeland, for allowing me the chance to try this toy in exchange for an honest and fair review.
