I’ve been in need of a new strap-on for a while now, since my favorite one busted and none of the ones I have used since have really made me feel like they were quite right. Pretty they were, but designed to last forever? Maybe not. So, I was pretty excited when I got contacted from PerfectFitBrand to write a couple of reviews for them. Included in the box was the Zoro, and I was pretty excited about it. I could tell it was going to be a good one.
Since I have never worked with PerfectFitBrand until now, I do want to mention first off that my package arrived very quickly and that it came in a plain box with no mention on the outside as to what was inside. Discreet packaging is always a plus in my book!
The box that the Zoro comes in is not discreet at all, however. Plan to open your package when you’re away from anyone who you’d prefer not know what you got. While there is no nudity on the package, there are several pictures of the item itself, and it is easy to tell that the box contains a strap-on. One feature of the box I thought was kind of cool, is that there’s a cardboard flap with a little window opening where you can see your toy (as pictured above).
The Zoro comes in three pieces. There are two straps, one is a size small, and one is a size XL. The waistbands will fit comfortably between a 24-40″ waist. Personally, I did find that the band fits best somewhat low on the waist. I used the XL strap, and found it to comfortably fit my 36″ waist.
When you take the dildo out of the box, you can tell that this is premium silicone. It’s incredibly soft and smooth to the touch, which I really liked. The toy itself is a modest 5.5″ long as well as 4.4″ in circumference, so this isn’t really a very large dildo and would be best for those who prefer a smaller toy. I found that for me, it was really great for anal stimulation, but you can use it for any hole you like.
Putting the strap-on together was pretty easy. I’m terrible with putting things together, but I was able to figure this out in just a couple of minutes. The straps attach with some button snaps, which stay in place very well, and I didn’t have any trouble with them coming apart during play.
Another great thing about the straps is that the part that goes around your waist is petty tall, at about 1.75″. This helps them to stay in place comfortably while you play. There’s nothing worse than having to constantly adjust your strap-on in the throes of play, but with these substantial straps, you really don’t have that problem. As you can see from my pictures, the part of the strap that connects you to the toy is a lot thinner, only about .5″ in width, but the toy stays in place very well, and I didn’t have a single issue with it coming apart in use.
Here you can see a shot of the strap-on completely put together. Once you have it put together, it slides on quite easily. The toy itself is hollow, but because of its relatively firm texture, it still feels really great on insertion. You can also put a bullet vibe in the back of the toy if you want your strap-on to vibrate. I find that while most “standard” sized bullets seem to fit pretty well, you’ll probably want to either put the vibe in a condom first, or make sure to use a bullet with a bit more length or else it’ll be a nightmare to get out of the toy. Standard sized bullets seemed to slide pretty deeply into the dildo otherwise.
One pretty cool feature about the Zoro is that it has a hole cut out of the bottom to make it possible to be penetrated at the same time as the Zoro is on. This is a pretty cool feature, and I tried wearing a butt plug with the strap-on to test it for myself. I’m not advanced at anal sex by any means, so I didn’t want to attempt anal sex at the same time with it. When I had help, I found that it was easier to get a plug or similar toy in, but trying to get a toy in on my own was a little bit cumbersome because of the size of the hole in the bottom of the Zoro. The hole does have a bit of give and can stretch slightly, but you need a toy that’s on the small side (no bigger than 1.5″ in diameter) in order for it to stay in easily while you are using the strap-on. Otherwise, I found that having an anal toy in while I was otherwise using the Zoro was more problematic as it would rub against the sides of the silicone.
Most silicone toys collect lint and hair like nobody’s business. This toy collects a little bit too, but thankfully it wipes off pretty easily. You’ll probably want to rest the toy down on a towel or something in between uses, but it’s not as obnoxious as some silicones can be, which is really nice.
Since the insertable part of the Zoro is silicone, please be sure that you use only water-based lubricants with it.
Cleaning this is pretty easy. If you take the straps off, you can put the straps in the wash in a lingerie bag, and you can boil the base. You can also use a toy cleaner, 10% bleach solution (if you leave it on for at least two minutes) or soap and water to wash your toy. I hang the straps on the drying rack, and I don’t have any issues with that. The only thing is that, obviously if you are trying to hide your toy from anyone in your house, washing the straps is going to be an issue. It’s a thick band as I’ve already mentioned so it usually needs to sit overnight to dry. When I’m done I like to keep my Zoro in the box that it came with, but again, I don’t have anyone in my house I need to hide this from. If discretion is important to you this will fit in a dresser drawer, but it is on the bulky side.
I’m really happy with my Zoro. I wish that the hole in the bottom was a bit easier to maneuveur on my own, but aside from that this is my current favorite strap on. I’m giving it four paws:
Thank you so much, PerfectFitBrand, for allowing me the chance to try out this great toy in exchanged for an honest and fair review.
