I know, the L’Amour Premium Silicone Massager – Tryst 1 is a mouthful, isn’t it? Well, trust me. It is worth the mouth full to get a pussy full of this fun little toy. I was offered the opportunity to try it out when SexShop.net emailed me a few weeks ago. I had never worked with them before, or shopped with them before so I decided to give them a try. I’m glad I did.
The toy is looking pretty good in its box. As you can see though, the box is see-through, and you can easily see the toy inside. Since the box isn’t discreet, it’s probably best that you don’t open your SexShop.net package around anyone you don’t wish to see your toy. The good news is that the packaging this came in was a simple bubble mailer, with no indication as to its contents. Shop without worries. Sexshop.net is quite discreet.
The toy was a bit in the middle for me. It is definitely waterproof, so you may use this either in the shower or bath without worry. To test this, I filled up the sink with water, turned the toy on its highest setting and let it buzz away for about a half hour or so. Once I took the toy out and dried it off, I opened the battery pack, and there was no water in there at all. Huzzah!
The toy is 100% silicone, and it passed a flame test. Do not use any lubes aside from water based with this one, because it will degrade the material.
In the above picture, you can see that there are two buttons. Use the top one to turn the toy on or off. The bottom button will cycle you through your seven modes. There are steady patterns and oscilating ones, so there should be something for nearly everyone. The quality of the vibrations is lower than many traditional vibrators I’ve tried, but they are deeply felt and more on the rumbly side. I will advise caution though: if you like high powered toys, this may not be the one for you. The two AAA batteries (not included) do a pretty good job, but I would still say the toy only gives about a three out of five in the power department.
The L’Amour Premium Silicone Massager – Tryst 1 is 7″ long, with 5.5″ being insertable. This is not a particularly long toy, so if you’re a beginner and want something a little on the “less intimidating” side, this might be a good toy for you. As you can see from my picture, the toy has a buldge at the end, which also is slightly curved (which is difficult to see in my picture). I found that, since my g-spot is shallow, I could stimulate my g-spot with it. This wouldn’t be your ideal g-spot hunter toy, but if you already know where yours is, and you don’t have a hard time reaching it, this toy might have the added bonus of reaching yours.
In the picture, you can see that there are a few slight “tendrils” of texture. I’m always on the fence about texture on my toys, but this is very smooth, and I honestly didn’t notice it inside me at all. I don’t think many people will notice it, unless you’re very, very sensitive to texture.
When you’re ready to clean the toy, you can soak it in a 10% bleach solution, use a toy cleaner, or scrub it with plain soap and water. Silicone is not porous, so if you wash it properly (or use a condom), you could easily share this with other people.
I do really like mine, and I’d give it more stars if the vibrations were just a bit more powerful. It is waterproof, has nice vibrations, and is made from 100% phthalate free silicone though, so I’m going to give it 4 paws:Thank you so much, sexshop.net, for allowing me to try out this vibrator in exchange for an honest and fair review.
