Road to Rivendell: Week 88

By some miracle, I have managed to maintain a four mile average for another week, but I’m sliding down a little bit again. Mainly, this is due to the heat. Still, I walked 4.1 miles this week. It really does feel like I’m getting closer though. With each passing week, I watch the “miles left” numbers dwindle, and I feel closer to Rivendell. Now too long now. I know how long it has taken me, and I know how long it will most likely take me to get just to Rivendell alone. I know what slowed me down and why. And yet, I do not feel deterred. “Straight onwards to Mordor. That’s where I’m going. Let’s go!”
